Surprise loved ones with Kiri Tuna Melt—creamy & satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1 can of tuna
- 3 tablespoons Kiri Glass Jar
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped onion
- 1/2 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Zest of half a lemon
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 4 lemon basil leaves
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 8 slices of toast bread
- Olive oil (for grilling)
Cooking steps
- Lightly brush the toast bread slices with olive oil. Grill them in a panini press or in a pan until they are golden brown and have nice grill marks.
- In a bowl, mix the tuna, Kiri Glass Jar, chopped celery, chopped onion, pomegranate seeds, chopped parsley, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Assemble the Sandwich:
- Place a piece of grilled toast on a plate.
- Add a lettuce leaf and a lemon basil leaf on top of the toast.
- Spoon 1/4 of the tuna Kiri mixture onto the lettuce.
- Top with another piece of grilled toast.
Repeat the assembly process for the remaining sandwiches and serve.
