Delicious Osmalieh stuffed with Kiri creme and strawberries
Ingredients
For the Osmalieh
- 15 Kiri Square Portions
- 250g of ready-made osmanleya dough
- ½ cup (125ml) of melted butter
For the Filling
- 1 tbsp of blossom water
- 1 cup (200g) of fresh strawberries
- ¼ cup of fresh cream
- 2 tbsps of of sugar
For the Syrup
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of blossom water
- 1 tsp of rose water
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
Cooking steps
Preparing the Osmalieh
- Mix the melted butter with the ready-made dough
- Split the dough into two parts
- Spread the dough with the thickness of 1cm over two trays
- Bake both trays with the oven heating of 180 degrees celsius for 12 minutes and then leave aside to cool down
Preparing the Filling
- Place the fresh cream and kiri Square Portions in the mixer
- Add the sugar and mix together
- Place the first half of the baked dough on the serving dish
- Spread it the creamy filling over it
- Lay out the cutup strawberry pieces over the filling
- Place the other half on top
- Serve the osmanleya with the syrup
The Syrup preparation
- Pour the cup of sugar with the water into a pot and once boiled, add the lemon juice.
- Mix until cooled
- Add the vanilla, the rose water and the blossom water
