A flavorful snack of greens, olives and Kiri Square Portions
Ingredients
For the Jar
- 16 Kiri Square Portions
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- ¼ cup green pepper
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ¼ cup chopped black olives
- 1 tbsp olive oil1 tbsp thyme
For the Spices
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Crushed red pepper
- ¼ tbsp hot red pepper
- 1 tbsp dried mint
Cooking steps
For the Jar
- In a mixing bowl, combine 16 Kiri square portions, ¼ cup chopped parsley, ½ cup chopped walnuts, ¼ cup chopped black olives, 1 tbsp olive oil, and 1 tbsp thyme.
- Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
For the Spices
- In a separate bowl, mix salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper, ¼ tbsp hot red pepper, and 1 tbsp dried mint.
Assembling the Jar
- Start by layering the Kiri mixture in the jar, followed by a sprinkling of the spice mixture.
- Continue layering the Kiri mixture and spices until the jar is filled.
- Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
