Delicious pancakes made with Kiri Square Portion and Zaatar
Ingredients
For the Pancakes
- 8 Kiri Square Portions
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup low fat milk or skimmed milk
- 1 egg
- tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- cup zaatar mixture
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Cooking steps
For the Pancakes
- In a mixing bowl, combine 8 portions of Kiri Square, 1 cup of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of low-fat milk or skimmed milk, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 2 teaspoons of baking powder. Mix until smooth batter is formed.
- Add Zaatar Mixture Add a cup of zaatar mixture to the pancake batter and mix until well incorporated.
- Cook the Pancakes Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly oil the surface with olive oil. Pour a ladle of the pancake batter onto the pan and cook until bubbles form on the surface. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Serve Warm Serve the Kiri Zaatar Pancakes warm, and enjoy!
- Optional: Drizzle with Honey For a touch of sweetness, you can drizzle the pancakes with honey before serving.
